Sitting at the cross-section of NYC, on West 57th across the street from Carnegie Hall, the location of the Park Hyatt New York is one that puts travelers in the fever of Midtown and just two blocks from Central Park.
Park Hyatt New York sits in a glass condo building that soars over 1,000 feet above Manhattan's cityscape so the hotel is one with gorgeous views. Inside, design firm Yabu Pushelberg created interiors of minimalist but inviting spaces with lots of natural stone and a color palette dominated by grays and browns. The hotel is also home to one of the best hotel swimming pools in town, up at its 25th-floor Spa Nalai.

The Park Hyatt has been our best hotel experience in NYC, a city with a lot of great hotels. It was a perfect location for us. Midtown just a short walk from Central Park and a short cab ride from museums that are important to us. The staff was warm and efficient. Park Hyatt has built an extended family among its staff. That in turn is extended to the guests. From check-in to departure we felt as though we were family members being welcomed home. Our room was large and comfortable with a soaking tub and a shower. The hotel food was excellent, although the restaurant was a bit loud and noisy. We ordered room service instead and there was no loss of quality and the room service wait staff was superlative. The next time we are in New York City we’ll definitely stay at the Park Hyatt.
